How in Hel is getting rid of the committee members with obvious biases going to do anything about actually getting rid of bias? You'd think it'd be better to know exactly what everyone's backgrounds and interests were, on account of being able to compensate for said slants.
I really do not understand why people insist on maintaining the illusion of objectivity.
