Twelve years, and...

Do we remember how crazy paranoid shit got? The canceling of songs on the radio that had the word Tuesday in them, the five minutes where Bush threw around crusade until his public relations guys say that shit down, because at least someone had learned a few lessons from history? Or the surreality of watching it happen, wondering if it wasn't some kind of stunt as Bush alienated our allies by taking unilateral action, freedom fries in the cafeteria and Halliburton in the background?

I have to wonder if having the Internet will stop all the shit from being forgot. I sincerely doubt it.
